Craig Nielsen

Craig is retired from 3M Company. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota as well as Master of Manufacturing Systems Engineering Degree from the University of St Thomas. He has one daughter, Madeleine, who attends Loyola University in Chicago. Craig was an active parent participant with Madeleine’s high school productions, helping to build sets, take tickets, and work the concession stand. During his early years at 3M he himself acted in many community theater productions in the Twin Cities area. Theater in the Round, Lakeshore Players, and Woodbury Community Theater were a few of the troupes with whom Craig had the pleasure of performing. He is excited to continue being an advocate for the performing arts and support those that both enjoy and work with them as an Ashland Board Member.
